Such a precious lady. I had the privilege of being her Sunday School teacher for many years and she was an encourager and she helped me keep going on. New Heights Baptist Church lost a precious Angel yesterday.

I have admired this sweet lady for many years. I always loved to hear her play the piano (and especially her signature roll at the end of a song). She was always an encouragement to me as the pianist. I appreciate all the cards and words of encouragement that she gave me frequently in person. New Heights Baptist Church has lost a fine Christian lady who genuinely loved people. She always remembered her beloved Bro. Duffy with flowers for our annual Jubilee. She played the piano from time to time and was always faithful. She has now joined her Lord and Savior, Bro. Duffy, and all those who have gone before her. I'm glad it's not over when say goodbye and we will meet again some day. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to know this precious lady!

So sorry to hear of Mildred's death. The Westmoreland's were such good neighbors as we grew up. It was so good to get reacquainted with her as we worked on our "rental" house these past several years. It was a blessing that she could have her independence for so long. She will be greatly missed but she and your dad are together again. We are on a trip right now but know that the family is in our prayers. Andy Sutliff

Sam & I were so saddened to hear of Mildred's passing. We regret that over the years we had lost touch with her. We loved Mildred and Preacher Duffy so much. Our hearts and prayers are with you, Frank & Denise.

For the past 21 years, Mildred Westmoreland faithfully attended New Heights Baptist Church. I will miss her singing in our choir and sharing many a smile. I will miss my friend, but find comfort in our salvation...knowing that one day we will meet again in heaven.
