Jerine Patterson, age 60, passed away at 12:15 pm on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County after several years of declining health.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 15, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

Jerine was born May 28, 1956 in Eden, NC, to the late Jerry F. Patterson and Betty Gillespie Patterson.  She was employed with Time Warner Cable prior to her illness.  A woman of faith, she is now at peace and free of pain.

She was the graddaughter of paternal grandparents, Luther D. Patterson and Pauline Price Patterson, and maternal grandparents, Howard C. Gillespie and Beulah Childress Gillespie, all who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her brothers and sister, Bobby Smith (Barbara) of Cana, VA, Frank Patterson (Gail) of Eden, and Debi Joyce (Jacquie) of Eden;  aunts, Geraldine Wall of Lancaster, SC and Brenda Carol Jones of Clearwater, FL;  cousins, Chris Jones of Eden, Dana Sante (Kristina) of St. Petersburg, FL, Cheryl Gillespie Adams (Gene) of Windsor, and Sandra Macy (Sammy) of Lancaster, SC;  nieces and nephews, Kimberly Stewart of Eden, Cristina Patterson of Eden, Tonya Smith of Eden, Tim Smith of Eden  Robert Smith of Mebane, and Luke Patterson of Greensboro;  and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Annie Penn Hospital and Hospice of Rockingham County for their kind support and care given to our loved one.
