Gladys Evelyn Caldwell Campbell, 93, of Eden, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Brian Center.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday at Fair Funeral Home with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. 

Mrs. Campbell was born February 14, 1923 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Carmel Boone Caldwell and Margie Manus Caldwell. Gladys was a member of First Baptist Church in Eden.  She was a graduate of Draper High School and member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Order of Amaranth and received her fifty year pin.  Gladys loved to paint. 

She is survived by her son, Devon Campbell and wife, Pam of Tahlequah, OK;  and two daughters, Tammy Denise Howell and husband, Robert Earl of Critz, VA and Linda Allen and husband, Carl of Wilmington, NC.; 8 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Swanson Campbell;  sons, Dana Campbell and Joel Campbell;  and daughter, Theressa Campbell.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 till 11 a.m.
