Charles "Charlie" Richard Sanders, 57, of Eden, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 5, 2017.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, February 9, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Reidsville, NC.

Charlie was born April 5, 1959 in Rock Hill, SC, to the late Bobby Ray Sanders and Irene Tolbert Sanders. He enjoyed spending time with his family; fishing and going to his lake house. He was a retiree of Southern Industrial Constructors.

He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Kingsbury Palma and husband, Max of Burlington; three grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle and Alessa; brother, Michael Sanders and wife, Cindy of Danville; sister, Debbie Sanders of Eden; brother, Bobby Sanders of Eden; step-mother, Carol Sanders of Little Mountain, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy Sanders and Ruby Brakefield; and maternal grandparents, John "Babe" Tolbert and Virginia Tolbert.

There will be no formal visitation.
