Esther Ann Minter Dunovant, 86, formerly of Clarkway Drive in Eden, passed away Sunday evening, November 13, 2016, at Morehead Nursing Center.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, November 16, at First Wesleyan Church in Eden.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Dunovant was born October 2, 1930 in Draper, NC, to the late Clarence and Lucy Moore Minter.  She was a member of First Wesleyan Church and a retiree of Ridgeway Clock.  Esther enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed family time with her brothers and sisters who have all gone on before her.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Dunovant and wife, Carolyn of Eden;  grandsons, Pastor Kevin Dunovant, Mark Dunovant and Morgan Dunovant;  granddaughter, Dawn Kyle and husband, Kevin;  daughter-in-law, Sara Dunovant;  and special friend, Magie Eggleston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Handy Dunovant;  son, Danny Dunovant;  five brothers;  and three sisters.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff of Morehead Nursing Center, East Hall, for their loving care and support.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jeff and Carolyn Dunovant, 1817 Ashby Street in Eden.
