Gladys Ophelia Price, 87, of 4930 U.S. 220 Business, passed away Monday, September 20th at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 23rd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4751 NC 14, Eden, NC, where she was a member. Interment will follow in the Stoneville City Cemetery. Mrs. Price was born January 31, 1923, in Guilford County, the daughter of the late Banner Henderson and Daisy Esper Long Priddy. She is survived by her children, Donna Snyder and husband Bob of Stoneville, Jim Price and wife Brook of Greensboro, Lee Price and wife Tonya (Lynn) of Stoneville, Debbie Hunter and husband Steve of Eden, and Cindy Farris and husband Ron of Eden; sisters, Dara Roberts and Shirley Holcomb; brothers, Dolon Priddy and Wayne (Blue) Priddy; grandchildren Tammy Tuggle, Lisa Tyson, Gray Price, Matt Price, Martin Price, Amy Wilson, Allison Farris, Andrew Hunter, Lauren Hunter, Scott Hunter, and Ben Kraudel; and great-grandchildren Natalie Tuggle, Cullen Price, Cameron Price, Caroline Wilson, Lizzie Wilson, and Eva Farris. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband, B. Weldon Price. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd, at Fair Funeral Home, Eden; and other times at the residence. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Home of Rockingham County, Morehead Nursing Center, and Moses H. Cone Hospital for their heartfelt and compassionate care.
