Betty was a dear friend. She was a faithful Christian, generous, and always kind. She was the best cake maker in Rockingham County. I miss seeing her and will be unable to be at the services, but we are praying for her family and friends. Comfort and peace in Jesus' name. HANW7

Betty was and is a sweet, sweet Christian Woman. She was a great friend to our family and I am rejoicing that she is in the place Jesus has prepared for her. I will miss her and the kind encouragement she always offered to me as a Minister of Jesus Christ. Our family is praying that the Father of all comfort will embrace you as we press on toward the prize in Christ.

I did not know Betty but was intrigued by learning that she was a member of Draper Christian Church. Being a Christian Church minister and a native of Leaksville and a frequent visiter at Draper Christian in the 1950's, I likely knew some of her McGuire relatives. I join Greg Hand in wishing God's blessings on her family.
