Jerry Allen Mimms, 66, of 137 Amanda Lane in Eden, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 24, 2016, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 26, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
Mr. Mimms was born November 20, 1949 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to the late Edward Thomas Mimms and Gladys Gibbs Mimms. He was formerly employed by Tire Sales and Service.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Horsley Mimms of the home; daughters, Tina Mimms of Eden and Ronda Isley (Mark) of Reidsville; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicholas and Allison Isley; brother, Edward Lee Mimms of Pelham; sisters, Betty Mimms DeBaere (James) and Patsy Mimms Dix, both of Danville; five nieces; and six nephews.
