Gladys Mae Walton, 73 formerly of Eden passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Avante of Reidsville. Gladys was born April 12, 1943 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Walton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Fair Funeral Home.

She is survived by her sister, Carol Gallihugh (Delma) of Eden; grandchildren, Tabatha Ashburn (Timmy) of Stoneville, Joseph Bryant of Stoneville; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Willie Bryant.

A special thanks to all the staff at Avante in Reidsville for caring for her the last seven years.

Carol and Family - I am sorry to learn of your loss - I remember Gladys from years past and know she had been dealing with health issues for a very long time. Your parents lived behind my Mom, Juanita Stewart, for years and we always thought a lot of them. I'm sure Rosie and Buck were there with open arms for Gladys' arrival and she is now free from pain no more. Love and prayers.

I went to Grade School with Gladys. We were friends but lost contact. i have always wondered where she was. So sorry to hear of her passing. God Bless her family.
