Evelyn Crews Tolbert, 86, formerly of Eden passed away Friday evening at Pruitt Health Nursing Home in Buford, Georgia. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, May 31 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery.

 

Evelyn was born on May 25, 1930 in Leaksville (now Eden) to the late John and Elma Owens Crews of Leaksville. She was a life long member of the Spray Baptist Church in Eden, North Carolina.

 

Surviving are her son Steve, and wife Susan of Suwanee, Georgia, and her granddaughter Jessica Tolbert also of Suwanee, Georgia; and numerous Cousins.

 

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Tolbert.

 

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (1-2pm).
