Steven Eugene Roberts, 61, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016, at his residence after losing his long battle with diabetes and heart disease.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, April 5, at the Salvation Army Citadel chapel in Eden. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Steven was born October 22, 1954 in Iaeger, WV. He loved attending Tri-City Baptist Church, visiting and talking to people about everything, telling silly jokes, eating, and chewing tobacco.
He has left behind his loving mommy, Chloe Stewart; sisters, Patricia Newcomb and husband, Ralph, and Velma Ferguson; brothers, Larry and Kevin Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews and families that he loved dearly, all of Eden.
Preceeding him in death were his daddy, Lawrence "Pig" Roberts and two brothers, Roger and Greg.
