I had the pleasure of working with Ruth at the Library. She was a character, kept me laughing and we always had a great time together. My prayers go out to you all during this difficult time.

I remember seeing Ruth in the Eden library when I would take my boys there when they were small. I thought she was kind of "gruff" and I wasn't sure about her. Several years later, I ended up working for the Outreach Department of the library, and ended up working quiet a bit with Ruth. I realized she wasn't gruff at all....she was just a person that did not put on pretenses....she was who she was. I found that I can to deeply respect, and even love her. Ruth was a wonderful person to know, and heaven is greater for having her presence there. God bless you, Ruth.....until we meet again.
