Lessie Moore Robertson, 83, passed away early Monday morning, March 14, 2016, at Morehead Nursing Center.

 

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, March 17, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery (Union Section).

 

Mrs. Robertson was born August 20, 1932 to the late Nathan and Sara  Moore.  She worked for Quality Cleaners for many years.  

 

She is survived by her husband, Bobby E. Robertson of the home;  five  daughters, Rachel Lambert Poppino of Palmetto, FL, Mary Lambert Hodges of Reidsville, Darlene Lambert Light, Marilyn Lambert Moser, and Marion Lambert Barber, all of Eden;  and numerous grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three of her children, Judy Lambert Gravely, Bobbie Lambert Barbre, and Jerry Ray Lambert; and the father of her children, John Ivey Lambert.

 

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her granddaughter, Angel Gibbs, 521 Victor Street in Eden or at 108 Stoney Brook Drive, Apt. 2 in Eden.
