Rena Belle Collins Howell, 86, of 985 Harris Street in Eden, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 5, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Howell was born April 26, 1929 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Andrew and Tima Richardson Collins.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, C. W. Howell, of the home; three daugthers, Gail Setliff and husband, Sammy, Patti Overby, and Billie Howell, all of Eden; son, Andy Howell and wife, Pam of Eden; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Andrew Collins, Jr. and wife, Jean of Eden and James A. Collins of Lexington, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Collins Pulliam.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service ( 1 - 2 PM ) on Saturday at Fair Funeral Home before proceeding to the cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
