Betty Frances Belton Burnett, age 83 of 1327 Fieldcrest Road, Eden passed away on Friday evening at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be 2 pm Tuesday at Dan View Cemetery with a visitation to be held on Monday evening from 6 - 8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Jerry, 1013 Westerly Park Road, Eden.

Mrs. Burnett was born February 20, 1933 in Rockingham County to the late Jesse and Nannie Hutson Belton. She retired from Fieldcrest Mills.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by husband, Gardner "Sheriff" Burnett.

Surviving are daughter, Rose Cullom and husband Gene of Greensboro; son, Jerry Burnett and wife Becky of Eden; sister, Shirley Carter of Eden; grandchildren, Adam Trey Woods, Derrick Lilly, Adrian Lilly, Tabatha Merchant and Magan Cullom; great grandchildren, Kenneth Abernathy, Jessup Lee Lilly, Kayla Rae Lilly, Ariana Victoria Lilly, Allex Cullom, Isaac Merchant and Conner Merchant.
