Jack Edward Shelton, 90 formerly of 155 Dogwood Drive, Stoneville passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 at North Pointe of Mayodan.
A graveside service will be held 12 noon on Monday at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. till 11: 45 a.m. at Fair Funeral Home before proceeding the cemetery.
Mr. Shelton was born August 5, 1925 in Rockingham County to the late Charles and Mary Goolsby Shelton. He was of the Baptist faith and had formerly worked for Baxter-Kelly.
Preceding him along with his parents was wife, Betty Hall Shelton; brothers, Paul, Charles and Neil Shelton and sister, Lois Shelton Wray.
Surviving are sons, Jerry L. Shelton of Stoneville and Ed Shelton (Debbie) of Mayodan; brother, Bruce Shelton of Ridgeway; grandchildren, Jody Shelton, Lee Ann Dunlap and Dwayne Shelton; 7 great grandchildren.
