Irene Faye Chumley age 68, of 201 Knollwood Drive, Eden passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.
A Funeral service will be held 4 pm Thursday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Dan View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening at Fair Funeral Home from 6 - 8 pm and other times at the home.
Ms. Chumley was born July 10, 1947 in the Draper section of Eden to the late Thomas and Bessie Gibson Chumley. She was a graduate of Morehead High School and worked at Metzeler Automotive Systems in Reidsville before she became disabled.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were, brothers, Jack and Ralph Chumley and sister, Mildred Chumley Carter.
Surviving are sons, David Chambers (Lori) of Reidsville, Dwayne Chambers (Tracy) of Gilberton, PA. and Derrick Chambers (Donna Collins) of Eden; sisters, Florine Ward (Henry) of Reidsville, Kay Billingsley (Pat) of Eden and Betty Sue Van Horn of Eden; brother, James Chumley of Conway, SC; grandchildren, David, Abigail and Dustin Chambers, Heather Dehart, Kaz and Jason Chambers; and special friend, Valentie Arechiga.
