Nancy Vada Richardson, age 77 formerly of the Price Road, Eden passed away on Saturday morning at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 17th at 2 pm at El Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Ms. Richardson was born April 25, 1938 in Rockingham County to the late J. Douglas Richardson and Pauline Calhoun Richardson. She was a graduate of Morehead High School Class of 1957 and attended Queens College in Charlotte. She was a member of Spray United Methodist Church.

Nancy retired as the bookkeeper for Leaksville Lumber Company.

She is survived by her cousin, Sara C. Washburn and husband Mike of Eden and special friend, George Butler of Eden.

I am so sorry to hear about Nancy. We would see her at the nursing center when my mom and her aunt were there years ago. She was always kind and a smile on her pretty face. Prayers she is at peace and for all the family and friends.
