Kenneth Wayne Mabe, 60, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016, at the V.A. Medical Center in Salem, VA.
 
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, February 12, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  Military rites will be performed by the Rockingham County Veteran's Honor Guard.
 
Mr. Mabe was born October 1, 1955 in Leaksville, NC.  He was a graduate of Morehead High School Class of 1973 and a US Army veteran.  Kenny was a salesman with Boss Motor Company.
 
He is survived by his father, William "Boss" Mabe of Eden;  two sons, William Mabe of Land of Lakes, FL and Andrew Mabe of Titusville, FL;  brothers, Keith Mabe and wife, Rene and Kevin Mabe, both of Eden.
 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ray Mabe.
 
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of his father, 9557 NC 87 South in Wentworth.
