She was a beautiful sweet spirit that I have many wonderful childhood memories of and will never forget her gentle kindness, her down home loving nature as well as laying the law down clearly to us kids...It was always good times in her home and the fried okra and sweet tea was like none other. She was loved by many a true soldier for the Lord and will truly be missed...as I sang for my father (her brother) I also remember the words for her as well at this moment....she is dancing with the angels as we speak..."Another Soldier has come home" Another Soldier Coming Home Her back is bent and weary Her voice is tired and low Her sword is worn from battle And her steps have gotten slow But she used to walk on water Or it seemed that way to me I know she moved some mountains And never left her knees She faced the winds of sorrow But her heart knew no retreat she walked in narrow places Knowing Christ knew no defeat But now her steps turn homeward So much closer to the prize She's sounding kind of homesick And there's a longing in her eyes. Chorus Strike up the band Assemble the choir Another soldier's coming home Another warrior hears the call she's waited for so long She'll battle no more But she's won her wars Make sure Heaven's table has room for at least one more Sing a welcome song Another soldier's coming home…
