Bobby Woodrow Vestal, age 72 of 640 E. Stadium Drive, Eden passed away on Wednesday December 30,. 2015 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm Saturday at Overlook Cemetery with visitation to follow at the graveside. The family will be at other times at the home.
Bobby was born March 12, 1943 in Rockingham County to the late Woodrow "Woody" Vestal and Vivian Cook Vestal. He was a graduate of Morehead High School Class of 1961 and attended High Point College. Bobby worked for Du Pont Industries and later was co-owner of Burks and Vestal. He retired from John Atkinson Realty as Maintenance Supervisor.
Preceding him in death along with his parents were his father-in-law, John Burks and mother-in-law, Khaki Burks.
Surviving are wife, Patsy of the home; sons, Scott Vestal and wife Renee of Eden and Sean Vestal and wife Rebecca of Pfafftown; grandchildren, Eli, son of Scott and Renee, Ryleigh and Maycie, daughters of Sean and Rebecca; sister, Sondra Aheron and husband Jim; brothers, Billy Vestal and wife Darlene, and Keith Vestal; special friends, Larry Rorrer and Jim Glidden.
