Deborah "Debbie" Williams Lawrence, 66, of 134 Crownover Road in Ruffin, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 23, 2015, at Brian Center in Eden.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 26, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Dan River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Debbie was born June 4, 1949 in Leaksville, NC to the late Hurley and Mozelle Priddy Williams. She was a graduate of Morehead High School Class of 1967 and attended Lawsonville Road Baptist Church. She was retired from Lawrence Heating and Cooling. Debbie loved spending time with her grandchildren, loved camping, fishing, boating, riding motorcycles, and working with her flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Lawrence of the home; sons, David Cox of Ruffin and Tony Cox and wife, Kasey of Thomasville; two step-children, Chance Lawrence and wife, Katie of Eden and Lori Powell and husband, Jim Ed of Ruffin; grandchildren, Amber, Hunter, Chris, and Nolan Cox, Elena Lawrence, and Savannah and Madalynn Powell; and brothers, Hurley Ray Williams and wife, Jana of Reidsville, and Jeff Williams and wife, Elsie of Eden.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) on Saturday at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
