Marvin Wilkerson Taylor, Jr. age 72 Our precious husband, uncle, stepdad, grandfather, and friend, went home to be with our Lord Saturday afternoon December 5, 2015 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. After nearly five years of declining health, he has reached his reward.

A Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10 till 11 am. Marvin was born May 25, 1943 in Wake County to Marvin Wilkerson Taylor Sr. and Versie Watson Taylor. Marvin was a member of Dan River Wesleyan Church; he loved his church family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was retired from Burlington Industries.

Preceding him in death are his parents and brother, Gary Watson Taylor.

Surviving are wife Mary Ann Hundley Taylor; step son Steven Cassell and wife Laura of Surf City; step daughter Cammie Willey and husband Danny of Eden; granddaughter Casi Moore and husband Lee; great-grandchildren, Cailey and Collin of Kernersville; granddaughter, Carlee Padgett and husband Spencer of Greensboro; grandson Dylan Willey of Eden; Special sister in law Ruth Pfitzemaier and husband Doug of Fuquay Varina; special nephews Nathan Taylor of Raleigh and Jeremy Taylor and wife Bethany of Fuqua Varina and their baby Reece; niece Martha Taylor-Boyd and husband Seth of Denver Colorado as well as his fur baby Meadow.

Special thanks to all the 500th hall at Brian Center as well as Dr. Xaje Hasanaj and the staff on 3rd floor Morehead Memorial Hospital.

The family will receive friends at other times at his home, 316 Meadowview Lane, Eden, NC.
