Veretta Lee O'Dell Gibbs, age 46 of 1206 Ellett Ave. a loving wife, mother and grandmother ,passed away on Friday November 20, 2015 at Morehead Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Wednesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibbs was born February 16, 1969 to the late Elkin Winfred ODell and Dorothy Redd O'Dell. Veretta worked at Chaney's Resturant until her health cause her to retire. Veretta was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and she loved NASCAR and Dallas Cowboys.
Surviving are husband Mark Anthony Gibbs of the home; sons Matthew Gibbs also of the home and Mark Gibbs, Jr of Eden; grandson, Noah and granddaughter, Peyton; sisters, Donna Rieson, Brenda Amburn, Lisa Blankenship and Tamara Owens; brothers, Elkin O'Dell, Jr. and James O'Dell all of Eden; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will friends Tuesday evening from 6 -8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home.
