Garner Coolidge "G.C." Brown, Jr. age 71 of 2946 Waterstone Loop, High Point passed away on Friday November 20, 2015 at Hospice Home of the Piedmont.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Tuesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, NC with burial to follow at Meadow View United Methodist Church on Summit Road, Eden.
Mr. Brown was born July 8, 1944 in the Spray section of Eden to the late Garner C. Brown, Sr. and Ellen Kirkman Brown. He was a U.S. Airforce Veteran and retired Service Manager for Greensboro Tire Company. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Preceding him along with his parents was his wife, Brenda Wilson Brown.
Surviving are son Timothy G. Brown and close friend, Terri Gosh both of High Point; daughter, Tina Brown Cooper of Level Cross and closest brother, James M. Brown; sisters, Brenda Eanes and Jeanette Vernon both of Eden; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and another on the way; several cousins, neices and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2 pm at Fair Funeral Home on Tuesday.
