Lonzie Michael Lewis age 39 of 1317 E. Meadow Road passed away at his home on Monday evening August 2, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Friday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Danview Cemetery. Michael was born June 5, 1971 in Martinsville He was employed by PACTIV of Greensboro and formerly worked for the Job Corp. Michael enjoyed riding Harley " Bonnie Blue". Surviving is his wife; Wendy Wood Lewis of the home, son; Jesse Travis , daughters; Brittney Lewis and Katie Travis, parents; Sherwood Lewis and Carolyn Powell Burleson, brother; Timothy Lewis, sisters; Teresa Lewis, Renee Newman, Tina Pulliam, grandsons; Levi Sick, Levi Travis, Javen and Jordan Chandler and several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother; Forsyth Sherwood Lewis, Jr. Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 -8 pm and other times at the home. She is my daughter also, her name is Heather Nicole and she looks just like her father. She knows about Michael and now I have to tell her about this.
