Beth was such a beautiful person. Her strength, positive attitude and faith in the Lord shined through even on those days she could barely make it down the hallway to her classroom. She was an inspiration and a shining light to all of us that worked with her at Monroeton. There will never be another like her but her sweet spirit will live on as a reminder to the rest of us as we walk through those school doors each day that life is short and to love and cherish each and every moment and to share God's love even on the most difficult days. My prayers go out to her mother. I pray peace and comfort for you and joy knowing that you will once again be together for eternity.

You do not know me, but my nephew, Eddie Espada, was one of Miss Archibald's students, 2 years ago. Before Miss Archibald took over Eddie's third grade class, my nephew was failing, hated school, and fought getting on the bus every morning. Within a week of her arrival in his classroom, his whole attitude changed. He could not wait to get on the bus in the morning and school became something he loved, not dreaded. By the end of the school year he was getting straight A's and had received multiple achievement awards. Without Miss Archibald, Eddie would have failed the third grade. Our family will be forever grateful for the love and attention she showered on Eddie. The world has lost a great educator, someone who could have taught other teachers the way it should be done. She will live in the hearts of our family, especially Eddie, forever. We are so sorry, not just for your family's loss, but the loss of all the children who will never get to know this wonderful woman. We keep your family in our prayers.

Teresa, I don't even know where to begin this message. I understand, I have walked in your shoes, as far as losing a piece of our heart. Our child. I wish I could tell you that it gets easier with time, but it just changes how we deal with it. Knowing that GOD makes no mistakes sinks in. I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Beth's Family: Words cannot express how sorry we are for the loss of Beth. She was a beautiful teacher and woman of God. Beth has inspired many with her faith and love. She taught my son Christopher Strader in 3rd grade 7 years ago. She knew how to connect with him and he excelled in her class. Beth taught my other son Noah just 3 1/2 short years ago. Again, she knew how to connect and he did well also. But that was Beth! She genuinely loved teaching and kids and I could sense it in how well my boys did that year. She gave hugs and encouragement wherever needed. We have prayed for her many times together as a family, but God is the only one who knew the plans He had for her. One thing I do know, people did see the Love of God in and through her and for that I am grateful. Sad because she will truly be missed. Rejoicing that she is no longer suffering. For her mother, Teresa, may the Peace and Power of God get you through this time. I can only imagine how you feel. BUT, rest assured for those of us who know the Lord....WE WILL SEE HER AGAIN! I know her rewards will be Great, and she has heard "well done my good and faitful servant". May her legacy go on and inspire many others. Love and prayers, Christine, Christopher, and Noah Strader(from Monroeton Elementary) we will continue to uplift you in prayer in the days to come........
Christine C. Strader
