Fair Funeral Home is posting the obiturary as a courtesy to the family.
Jimmy and I knew were childhood friends and later played in bands together in the late sixties. A gifted guitarist and a talented artist, his loss makes me sad for both myself and for the arts which are the poorer with his passing. My deepest condolences to David, Jeannie, and the entire Hodges family. Godspeed, old friend.

Sorry for your loss. When we were kids we played softball and football many days in his yard with his brothers Mike and David along with other kids. He will be missed by many. My prayers are with his family.
