Teresa Roland, 61, of 206 Clifton Street in Eden, passed away Wednesday morning, August 26, 2015, at the home of her sister.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 29, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery.
Teresa was born November 20, 1953 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Daniel "Roundhead" Woods and Doris "Dee" Corum. She worked for 20+ years for Circle Drive-In as a cook.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Johnny Balser; four sisters, Debra W. McBride, Patsy G. Woods, Cathy "Pete" Hooker and Susan L. Woods, all of Eden; sister-in-law, Linda Woods of Eden; brother, Danny Woods of Yanceyville; brother-in-law, Jeff Hale of Eden; seven nieces; one nephew; four great-nieces; seven great-nephews; one great-great-niece; and one great-great-nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry "Wink" Woods.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of Susan Woods, 188 Briggs Drive in Stoneville.

Debra, Pete, Patsy, and Susan, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. Teresa was an old friend of mine, me, Paul, Petie Hut and Teresa would double date a lot. Y'all were all close as sisters, and if you messed with one you got ALL of you. I admire the closeness you have. Be strong and hang on to the memories of good times. You will see her again!!!
