Robert Lee Callahan, 69, passed away Friday, August 14th, 2015, at the Hospice Center of Rockingham County.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, August 16th, at Fair Funeral Home.
Mr. Callahan was born to the late Grady Adkins and Naomi Lillard Adkins on January 15, 1947 in Patrick County, Virginia. Robert was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his daughters Crystal Callahan of Ridgeway, Virginia, Tabitha Alvarez and husband Freddy of Ruffin, Robin Callahan of Eden, two son?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Robert Callahan of Eden, Marshall Callahan and wife LeAnn of Eden, and two brothers Jacky Adkins and wife Marlena of Indiana, and Booker Adkins and wife Opielene of Patrick County, Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Daniel Callahan.

I just wanted to say sorry for ya'lls loss. I was married to Jody Adkins at one time and had met Robert on a few occasions. We all (Booker,Jody,myself,and Opalene) had taken some fishing trips with Robert to South Carolina and he liked to joke around with everybody.Again Im sorry for your loss.
