Anne Williams Hubbard, 84, formerly of 302 South Kennedy St. Eden passed away Monday evening July 13th, 2015 at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Wilmington, NC. The funeral service will be held 11am Thursday July 16th at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery.

Mrs. Hubbard was born April 14, 1931 in Greensboro, NC to the late Harold T. and Mary Parker Fryer Williams. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Eden for over 50 years and volunteered regularly there as well. She was formerly a school teacher in her younger years until becoming a homemaker to her family. She also volunteered at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden for 22 years.

Surviving are her son Robert Hubbard and wife Megan of Wilmington, NC, her daughter Parker Hubbard Cohen and husband Fred of Washington Crossing, P.A., 4 grandchildren Jesse and Allison Cohen and Gabriel and Elizabeth Hubbard along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband Jesse B. Hubbard and a sister Mary Lou Williams McLean.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Fair Funeral Home from 10 until 11am. Donations can be made to First Baptist Church: 533 Greenwood St. Eden, NC.

The family is in my thoughts and prayers. Ann worked with me at Morehead Hospital when she so kindly volunteered her time to help us in the lab. Very sweet lady, I know she will be missed.
