Recie Mae Pruitt Dalton, 86, of 8017 NC 700 of Ruffin, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 20, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Dalton was born May 6, 1929 and was a retiree of General Motors Company in Flint, Michigan.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Marie Dalton, of the home; son, Dennis Dalton of Kernersville; three grandchildren, Dennae Noblitt and husband, Loren of Zionsville, Indiana, Dennis Dalton, II. of Birch Run, Michigan, and Mollie Bowman and fiance', Jeffrey Seals of Ruffin; three great-grandchildren, Spirit Dalton, Isabelle and Luke Noblitt; sister-in-law, Bobine Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifton Dalton and sister, Lois Jones.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
