Steve Jarrell, 59, of 1865 Huntington Trail in Cascade, VA, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, June 19, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Jones Family Cemetery in Cascade.

Mr. Jarrell was born March 30, 1956 in Rockingham County, NC. He was a 1974 graduate of Morehead High School and a retiree of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Steve loved to fish and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was always willing to help his family, friends or anyone in need.

He is survived by his son, Cory Jarrell of Cascade, VA; daughters, Bridget Deal and husband, Dennie of Axton, VA, and Chrystal Stultz of Myrtle Beach; grandson, Maxumus Force Deal; parents, Eugene and Hazel Jones Jarrell of Eden; and the mother of his children, Sarah Campbell of Ruffin.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday (12 Noon to 1 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of his parents, 1916 Third Street in Eden.
