Peggy Hall Minter, 89, formerly of Draper, NC passed away Monday, June 8, 2015, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 3pm Wednesday June 10th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville, NC.

Mrs. Minter was born May 15, 1926 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Fred and Susie LaPrade Hall. She attended MerrimanSt. Wesleyan Church and worked at Fieldcrest Mills with over 45 years of service.

She is survived by her son, Garry Minter of Eden, Jimmy Minter and wife Nancy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jerry Minter and Margaret of Belews Creek, NC, two brothers George Hall and wife Beth of Eden, Bill Hall and wife Dorothy of Vinton, VA,one sister Sadie Turner and husband Ted of Rock Hill, SC, one grandson Josh Minter and wife Skylar of Atlanta, GA, and granddaughter Denise Gaymon and husband David of Thomasville, NC, and a great-grandson, Chance Gaymon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Willard Minter and her brothers Mike and Cletus Hall.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 2:45 pm prior to the service at Fair Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Morehead Nursing Center: 205 East Kings Highway, Eden, NC 27288.

Mrs. Peggy lived across from the Bayberry for a while, we use to see her play with her dog Sammy. She loved him very much but knew she had to give him up. We have and will miss her very much. Ginny and Staff
