Shirley Gray Overby, age 79 of 1428 Delaware Ave., Eden passed away early Sunday morning June 7th, 2015 at her home. The funeral service will be held Tuesday June 9th, 3pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Danview Cemetery.
Shirley was born to the late Mack and Carrie Holly Overby June 8th, 1935 in Draper, NC. She worked in several daycares over the years, lastly working at the Trinity Wesleyan Church daycare where she was a childcare assistant. She also was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church for 15 years.
Surviving are her sisters; Linda Chambers and husband Wesley of Eden, Judy Law of Winston Salem, NC, nephew Frank Chambers and wife Christie of Eden and two great nieces Danielle and Morgan O'Dell.
The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Fair Funeral Home 2 - 3pm. Online condolences can be made to www.fairfuneralhome.com.
