Ronald Eugene Wimbish, 76, of 14714 NC 87 in Eden, passed away Wednesday morning, May 27, 2015, at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 29 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wimbish was born November 11, 1938 in Spray, NC, to the late Van and Nannie Martin Wimbish. He was a former member of the NC National Guard, 139th Regimen, 30th Division and a retired electrician for E. I. Dupont, Incorporated. For 15 years, Ronald, owned and operated Parkview Mart in Eden.

He is survived by his son, Barry Wimbish of Eden; sister, Karen Yarbrough and husband, Charles of Eden; niece, Gina Gammons; and nephew, Chuck Yarbrough.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Roberts Wimbish and son, Brian Eugene Wimbish.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Spray United Methodist Church, PO Box 690, Eden, NC 27289.

I was so try to here about Ronnie he was a good man. I remember his smile he always had one for everyone. I know he will be missed. I am sorry for your loss. You will be in my prayers.
