Mozelle Morris, 98, of 1222 E. Stadium Drive in Eden, passed away Monday afternoon, May 4, 2015, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 6, at Danview Cemetery with Reverend Sue Anne Morris officiating.
Mozelle was born June 22, 1916 in Danville, VA, the daughter of the late James W. and Maude C. Morris. She was a graduate of Leaksville High School, Class of 1934 and was retired from Fieldcrest Mills after 42 years of service. Mozelle was a member of First United Methodist Church of Draper.
Surviving are her sisters, Naomi Morris Johnson and Iotha Morris and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Morris Rigney and brothers, Lester W. Morris, James F. Morris and Essrin W. Morris.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (10 - 11 AM) at the graveside. Other times the family will be at her home, 1222 East Stadium Drive.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
