Larry Herbert Wilson, 69, of 1537 Lincoln Street, Eden NC he went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 29, 2015.

Larry was born in Pittsylvania County on August 22, 1945. He was the son of the late Harry William and Lula Alice Gammon Wilson of Cascade, Virginia. He was a loving father, grandpa, brother and friend. He was faithful member of Victory by Grace Church Baptist Church. He worked several years in Fieldcrest Cannon Bedspread Mill; a self-employed home remodeling contractor and was the co-owner of LTM Auto Sales for many years. Larry was kind- hearted man; he loved his family, cared about others and was always there to lend a helping hand. He was a ?¢‚Ǩ?ìfixer?¢‚Ǩ¬ù and could fix most anything. He loved working on cars and trucks old classics like 56 Fords.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. Burial will follow at Ridge View Memorial Gardens.

He is preceded in death by his parents; by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Ann Edwards Wilson.

He is survived by his sons - Todd Wilson and wife Tonya, Mark Wilson and wife Charity; Grandchildren ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Jacob, Parker and Hannah Wilson all of Eden; and by his brothers and sisters - Lewis Wilson and wife Ann, Curtis Wilson and wife Roberta, Shirley Blackwell and husband William, Margaret Kingston, Brenda Morgan and husband Larry, Betty Lou Overby, Judy Wilson and husband Leon, Jimmy Wilson and wife Kathy along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel and other times at his home.

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Victory by Grace Baptist Church Building Fund c/o Rev. Wayne Cannard, 749 Morgan Road, Eden NC 27288, or to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
To the Wilson Family, I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless you all and give you the grace and comfort you need in the coming days. I am sure Larry is celebrating his home going to Heaven with your sweet Mama today. Tommy Jr, my brother, is probably making them laugh at his funny jokes.
