Eddie "Peanut" Lee Land, 86, of 1730 Price Road in Eden, passed away Monday evening, April 27, 2015, at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 29, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Land was born February 18, 1929 in Spray, NC to the late John W. and Jennie Roberts Land. He worked for Hooker Furniture then later retired from Fieldcrest Blanket Finishing Mill.
He is survived by his significant other of 62 years, Mary "Tinnie" Hall, of the home; daughter, Lynn Hall of Eden; two brothers, Lonnie Land of Stoneville and Roy Land and wife, Judy of Madison; many nieces and nephews; and a special fellow, "Marley".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Virgil, James, John, Dewey, and J.R. Land; sisters, Estelle Webb and Catherine Overby; and nephews, Wayne and Benny Land.
The family will gather at the home, 1730 Price Road, following the service.
