My thoughts, prayers and love are sent to you all. I hope this is ok, knowing Brenda she would have proofed this closely before it was sent!

My heart truly goes out to the family, I am so saddened, I just found this out just now I have had Mrs. Winston Atkins on my mind for sometime now with plans of trying to find her, So this morning on Facebook I searched her name and this was what I found, Mrs. Winston had a huge impact on my life(life changing) in the 7th grade, I have always wanted to sit down and express my gratitude she taught me a lot, a lot of common sense lol, WOW I just can not believe this, She taught me something else today I guess, Don't put things off, You will never be forgotten!!!!!

So sorry to hear of Brenda's death; I am in Egypt for awhile and received the news late. I know she fought her last battles bravely, with the dignity and great character she has been so well known for. My memories of her go back to childhood in the little house at Mayfield. She will be missed by so many. God bless all of you in her family.
