John "Johnny" Daniel Tucker, 71, of 5115 NC 770 in Stoneville, passed away Friday morning, March 20, 2015, at his home.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Sunday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel and the burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens will take place on *Monday* at 1 pm.
Mr. Tucker was born June 4, 1943 in Rockingham County to the late Floyd Thomas Tucker and Nellie Gray Carter Goodson. He was retired from Karastan Rug Mill.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Dooley Tucker, of the home; son, Donald "Wayne" Tucker and wife Patsy of Mayodan; daughter, Wendy Tucker Carter and husband Mike of Stoneville; sisters, Doris Ore of Eden and Dot Craddock of Stoneville; brother, Phillip Tucker of Stoneville
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Shawna Lynn Tucker.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Saturday at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home.

I know that daddy thought so much of Johnny and in later years when it was hard for him to get out he enjoyed the times Johnny would come out and visit with him.
