Randy Keith Vernon, 61, of 534 Jarrell Road in Reidsville, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, February 17, 2015, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 20, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Vernon was born October 3, 1953 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Thomas William Vernon and Nannie Mae Edwards Vernon. He was employed by Morrisette Paper Company.
He is survived by three sisters, Peggy Moore and husband, Johnny of Reidsville, Marie Edwards and husband, Donnie, also of Reidsville, and Carolyn Dunn and husband, LeRoy, of Eden; and brothers, Roger Vernon and wife, Daphne, Eddie Vernon, both of Eden, Ronnie Vernon, and Dale Vernon, all three of Reidsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brother, Gilmer, Elmer, LeRoy, and Jimmy Vernon; and sister, Mabel Barnes.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (10 - 11 AM) on Friday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

To Randy's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Randy was one of the sweetest, nicest guys I knew in school and whenever I saw him thru the years, he had not changed. He is in a better place but this world is poorer without him.
