Shirley Tillman Clark, 77, of 330 E. Meadow Road in Eden, passed away Tuesday evening, January 27, 2015, at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 31, at Lawson Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark was born August 9, 1937 in Lenoir County, NC to the late Wade and Ruby Clark Tillman. Along with being a homemaker most of her life she was a member of Central Baptist Church in Eden for over 25 years.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Chadwick Howard and wife Kathleen of Newborn, NC, Patricia Gearhart and husband Josh of Eden and Rhonda Campbell of Eden, six great-grandchildren, one brother Bill Tillman and wife Joyce, four sisters Ruby Lee Jackson, Nettie Tillman, Delia Alcock and Hilda Banks, and step-son, Tim Clark.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Posie Clark; son, James Howard; and step-daughter, Bonnie Clark.
There will be no formal visitation, however, the family will greet friends at the home of Donna Howard, 823 Pitcher Avenue in Eden.

To the Family of Shirley Clack,I'm so sorry for the loss of Ms.Shirley. She was a special person, She was loved by many. She was always nice to everyone. I know in my heart she will be watching over her loved ones. We will all miss her, but I know she is in no more pain and she is with her loved ones that has gone from here.
