Maggie Prewette Strader, 85, of 241 Regency Drive in Reidsville, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 21, 2015, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth.
A private graveside service, for only close friends and family, will be held at 4 PM on Friday, January 23 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Reidsville.
Mrs. Strader was born August 8, 1929 in Ringold, VA to the late Lewis and Carrie Devon Prewette. She was a retiree of American Tobacco Company with 47 years of service.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Webb of the home; grandson, Robert A. Webb and wife, Missy of Reidsville; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Wesley Webb; brother, Alfred "Buck" Prewette of Eden; sister, Virginia Mann of Sanford, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Strader; four sisters and two brothers.
