Following the burial services at Chapel Hill Cemetery please join Myra?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s family for a light lunch in celebration of Myra?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s life at the Siena Hotel, 1505 East Franklin St., Chapel Hill.

After graduating from UNC with a degree in Physical Therapy she went on to open a network of clinics, being both an entrepreneur, a healer, and an advocate for her profession. She taught countless medical students, residents and physicians to always keep the patient?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s perspective first.

She was predeceased by her parents, Clyde M. and Fannie Cox Pratt, by brother Milton Pratt and sister Mildred Campbell, all of Eden, NC and sister Frances Glass of Asheboro, NC. She is survived by her three sisters, Ruth Lemons and Faye Pyrtle, Both of Eden, NC, and Ann Woodall and husband Ron of Smith Mountain Lake, VA, and many nieces and nephews. Among them are special nieces Jeri Wilson, her husband Mike and beloved grandniece and Godchild Kelly Wilson; as well as Della Chumley and Jerrye Deaton; and her close nephews Sam Pyrtle and his partner Anthony Koop, and Reece Pyrtle, his wife Val and daughter Ainsley. She leaves behind her closest longtime friend Carol Gordon, as well as Nancy Roberts, Doug and Carrie Small, and numerous other friends. So sorry to hear of Myra's passing. May God see each and every member of her family through this time of grief, sorrow and sadness. Myra was a sweet lady in high school and well liked by everyone. She did well for herself after HS and helped many many people I am sure. RIP Myra. Absent from the body, present with the Lord". A much better place to be but very hard on family members at the present. Will be praying for them all during this time, and the weeks and months ahead.
