I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Pat during my tenure at the Eden brewery. He was a great guy!!! Funny, quick witted and very smart. Dedicated employee and even MORE dedicated family man. No doubt his passing will leave a huge hole in the heart of all who knew and loved him. May you all be comforted by the peace that he is now at rest and in the loving arms of the Lord.

Pat Steed was a man who was so dedicated to not only his family but to his community. For several years Pat coached a soccer team here in Eden. Two of my sons had the honor of having Pat as their coach. He was an outstanding role model to them. Our family has always had great respect for such a kind, friendly and caring man that Pat was. Our sympathy to Marion, Kevin,Terry and Betsy and the rest of Pat's family. We truly lost a great man.

I knew Pat from the old days from plant start-up until I left. He was a good family man; bright, great sense of humor and quick witted. He loved to fish and we spent some time doing just that. Condolences to Marion & Family. Bill Meyer

I have known Pat as a neighbor, co worker and friend for many years. It was a testament to his will and character the way he fought his battle. His determination and spirit are a very powerful example for all that knew him. He was devoted to his family. I believe his first passion was fishing followed by golf. I still envy his putting stroke! He will be missed. Bob Hoskins

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Pat's family during this difficult period. I had the opportunity to not only work with Pat but also share a little bit of fishing time during our time as Brewing Mgrs for Miller. Pat was one of the good guys. He was wonderful to be around and could always be counted on to help others. He will be missed.

My boys were fortunate to have Pat as a soccer coach when Terry was in middle school. He was devoted to his family and set a fine example for the youth of our community. My boys always looked up to him. Later, he and Marion became our neighbors. He was a great neighbor, inviting the neighborhood over and making everyone at home. A wonderful man. He will truly be missed. My heartfelt condolences to Marion and all of the family. Mac and Sylvia McCrory

I am greatly indebted to Pat. He interviewed me in 1979 when I first went to Miller and then in 2000 he rehired me to work in the Brewing Dept. Note to all planning to fish in the afterlife- forget it- Pat's already caught them. Joe Davis
