I was so sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Spangler. I was out of town last week teaching a workshop in Roanoke Rapids and did not hear of her death until this past weekend. She was such a sweet woman! When I had Samuel and Jessica as students, she was such an involved presence. I really enjoyed keeping in touch with her over the years. I am so glad she stopped by to see me the last week of school this year to show me Samuel's graduation picture and bring me a copy of the program. I know Samuel and Jessica will miss her very much. I will miss her as well!
