Phillip Randall Dickerson, age 69 of Jay St. Eden, NC passed away
December 27, 2014 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will
be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 2, 2015, at Trinity Wesleyan Church.
Mr. Dickerson was born June 11, 1945 in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late
Delma and Elnora Cobbler Dickerson. He was a member of Trinity Wesleyan
Church. He also worked at Spray Cotton Mills for 10 years in addition to working
for Fieldcrest Mills for 25 years where he was a supervisor for both.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Booth of Eden, Sherry Dickerson of Greensboro, NC
one son Phillip Dickerson, Jr. of Eden, two brothers Jerry Dickerson and Donnie Dickerson,
two grandchildren Nicholas Booth and Jammie Dickerson both of Eden, and
one step-son Earl Roland of Eden. in addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his
wife Vickie Moretz Dickerson and his sister Martha Slaughter.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at the church, and other times at the
home of her daughter Debra Booth; 201 Adam St. Eden. Memorial donations can be made
to the charity of the donars choice.
