Genevieve Stowe Soyars Mabry, 84, of Eden, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ on December 6, 2014 at the Brian Center in Eden.
A funeral service will be held 3 pm Tuesday at Eden First Wesleyan Church, 607 Church Street, Eden with the Pastor Lewis Brandon officating. The burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Mabry was born October 1, 1930 to Howard and Estelle Doss Stowe. She was a retired secretary from Centel/Sprint in Martinsville and a member of the Eden First Wesleyan Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Aubrey Soyars and Alton Mabry, her sister, Katherine Gillespie, two brothers, Franklin and Leonard Stowe, brother-in-law, Lewis Donavant and beloved niece, Nora Donavant.
Mrs. Mabry is survived by her sisters, Jacqueline Donavant of Kernersville, Brenda and husband, Steve Joyce of Mooresville, sister-in-laws, Shirley and Ida Stowe of Eden, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the Staff of Eden Brian Center for their love and care of Genny. She loved You. Also the family would like to express their thanks to her special niece, Debra Stowe for her devotion and loving care.
Memorials may be made to Eden First Wesleyan Church Parking Lot Fund, 607 Church Street, Eden, NC 27288.
The family will receive friends at the church on hour prior to the service and other times at the home of her niece, Debra Stowe at 146 Murphy Lane, Eden.
