Patricia Dalton Chambers, 77, of 409 Merriman Street in Eden, passed away early Thursday morning, November 27, 2014, at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, November 30, at Danview Cemetery.

Mrs. Chambers was born September 6, 1937 in Draper, NC, to the late Dewey Marvin Dalton, Sr. and Vera Smith Dalton. She was a former salesperson for Dickerson Pawn Shop.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Chambers, of the home; daughter, Toni LaPrad and husband, Woody of Eden; son, Bobby "Tuck" Chambers and wife, Wendy, of Eden; one grandchildren, Amy LaPrad; four great-grandchildren, Rickey LaPrad, Cody, Daniel and Austin Bates; two great-great-grandchildren, Jenna LaPrad and Bella Bates; brother, Pastor D. M. Dalton; and sister, Judy Carter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Balser.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Sunday, (2 - 2:45 PM) at Fair Funeral Home before proceeding to Danview Cemetery for the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.

To the family, Bubba and I will miss Patsy's ready smile and that contagious laugh. She was the most loveable people in the world. She. loved her family so much, that sometimes when she spoke of them, she would shed a tear. Sometime she would go from house to house in the neighborhood checking on everybody, just to say hello and to see if anybody needed anything. Patsy was a true gem. We loved her so much, and she will be missed by us and so many other people. Love to all of the family. Bobby if you need us we are just across the street. Call anytime.
